PA GALLERY
Founded in 2019 by Elena Parshina and Nadezhda Avanesova in Moscow
PA Gallery of Contemporary Art represents Russian and international artists working in various media and specializes in unofficial Soviet art of the late 20th century. The gallery’s mission is to promote artists on the international market. That’s why the artworks of the gallery’s residents are presented in museums and private collections all over the world. PA Gallery takes part in international art fairs, partners up with art institutions and foundations, and consults private collections.
At our booth, we present spacious meditative landscapes by Oleg Khvostov and a new series of objects by Dima Shabalin. Both authors are hard to miss. Masks by Dima Shabalin are artefacts made of the found objects — an epitome of our time. Besides that, one of the latest works by Andrey Syaylev will be shown. In collaboration with the artist, we recently launched an environmental project called Collector Shop, which is currently on tour to the museums and is being constantly updated online.
