    Krokin gallery

Founded in 1990 by Mikhail Krokin in Moscow

The Krokin Gallery is one of the oldest Russian contemporary art galleries. It collaborates with well-known Moscow and foreign artists working in the field of contemporary art and organizes monthly solo and group exhibitions. Since 1990 the Krokin Gallery has realized more than three hundred art projects and about two dozens of museum projects. At the exhibitions of the Krokin Gallery, iconic names go well with authors who are making their first but rather confident steps in the art market. The gallery was one of the first to show its residents at the most dignified contemporary art fairs in Western Europe and the United States. The publishing program of small-circulation personal and group monthly booklets and catalogues of famous Moscow artists who cooperate with the gallery is one of its most important activities.

  • We showcase two authors, the family duo of Platon Infante and his wife and colleague Daria Konovalova-Infante. There will be both new artworks and artworks shown at museum projects such as “Future Lab. Kinetic Art in Russia”, held recently in the Tretyakov Gallery. Their art should be looked at not for minutes but for hours; it’s as addictive as a hadron collider. When passing by, the viewer stops for a long time; it is worth a lot. Usually, at Platon’s works, there is a “traffic jam”, the movement halts, the swirls appear. So keep your distance! The works of these artists form a powerful magnetic field!
