    Heritage International Art Gallery

Founded in 2006 by Kristina Krasnyanskaya in Moscow

The gallery was one of the first in Moscow to actively study and show artists of the first wave of the Russian diaspora, such as Kandinsky, Chagall, Goncharova. Over time, the works of the author's Soviet design of the 1920s–1980s became an important area of the gallery’s interest. Thanks to the consistent exhibition and research activities of the Heritage Gallery, the interest of both the public and experts in this unique and still poorly studied area has significantly expanded, and western viewers have had the opportunity to see Soviet campaigning furniture and design items for the first time at international art fairs. Alongside the promotion of Soviet design in America, Europe and China, the founder of the gallery Kristina Krasnyanskaya continues to impress the sophisticated Moscow audience with collectable design items from around the world. Author's items created in a single copy or in a limited edition become the part of private and museum collections, cause a stir at auctions, set trends at international fairs. In 2019, after the first collaboration with Russian object designers, the gallery presented its new direction — Heritage contemporary collectable design, which united exhibition and educational activities in the field of collectable design both in Russia and abroad. Today, the gallery represents about twenty of the most talented and promising contemporary Russian authors working in the field of collectable design and art.

  • Lately, I have been interested in collectible design. Our booth will feature world-class authors of Chinese origin. Their works were exhibited at the world's top museums and sold at Design Miami/Basel. For example, the steel console of Hongjie Yang, whose objects were displayed at the Pompidou Centre, and the lacquer furniture by Li Naihan and Zhou Runda, which was featured at the Design Museum in London, Venice Biennale of Architecture. Li Naihan collaborated with Ai Weiwei. In addition, Anatoly Zhuravlev dedicated a series of unique engraved vases and several works of 2007 (made for the 'China Connection,' solo exhibition in Beijing) to the dialogue between European and Chinese cultural approaches. Besides that, a stunning piece by Oleg Tselkov from the 1990s will be present.
