Gallery Fine Art
Founded in 1992 by Marina Obraztsova and Irina Filatova in Moscow
The gallery’s main aim from the very first days is the creation of the Russian art market of contemporary art. Gallery Fine Art, which was founded in the 1990s, immediately began to build itself as a cultural institution and a civilized business. A well-thought-out aesthetic strategy allowed the gallery not only to create a great style in contemporary art but also to survive all the crises and upheavals. The gallery has held more than 250 exhibitions, including those at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the State Russian Museum, and participates in projects of the Tretyakov Gallery. The Gallery participates in Russian and international art fairs, as well as in international projects and auctions. Gallery Fine Art participated in the formation of a number of large collections, for example, the collection of Igor Markin and his Museum ART4.RU, the collection of the Ekaterina Cultural Foundation, that of Aslan Chekhoev and his New Museum, etc. Over the years, more than 100 artists have collaborated with the gallery. Among them are such famous masters as Eduard Gorokhovsky, Igor Vulokh, Sergey Shablavin, Dmitry Shorin, Igor Shelkovsky, and young authors. The search for young talents and the discovery of new names is one of the main goals of the gallery.
