On May 18 and 19 2019, DA! MOSCOW introduced unique art battles. In the corners of the ring are two artists, two worldviews. Behind their shoulders are two different worlds - gallery and street. Each of them has several hours to create a new masterpiece. Viewers were able to observe the process in live mode.
Public competitions were spread in many forms of art back in the last century: then jazz bands fought for the attention of the audience, later, by the analogy, well-known dance and rap battles were formed. Today, artistic "battles" are also gaining popularity: one of the world's largest organizers of art battles annually holds more than 200 tournaments in the USA, Canada, Japan and other countries.
