The heart and the soul of the 11.12 GALLERY is its founder and owner, Alexander Sharov. He is a driving force and initiative centre of all ambitious ideas and concepts by which the gallery stands out qualitatively within the Russian art community. The gallery team is always open to new initiatives, which allows to enlarge the area of its activity and make more people familiar with contemporary art. That’s why all the issues regarding the affordability of either the art content or the technical ways of showing and marketing it are extremely relevant to the gallery. In 2020, the gallery launched the digital terminal, which in fact represents its online version. One more thing that makes 11.12 GALLERY very special is the cooperation with regional artists and artistic institutions. Due to the fact that artistic activities are really authentic and diverse beyond Moscow, the gallery focuses on representing artists from different parts of Russia.

11.12 GALLERY cooperates with the main Russian museums and organises relevant projects aimed at the popularisation of contemporary art. Among them are “Dvoegorsk” by Rinat Voligamsi and “Not Belong There, Not Belong Here” by Slava Ptrk at Moscow Museum of Contemporary Art, “Forever” by Damir Muratov at Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow.
